School Year: 2026–2027

The Montessori School of Waukesha (MSOW), Wisconsin’s only school accredited by the American Montessori Society (AMS). 

We are currently accepting applications for the following levels for the 2026-27 school year:

  • Early Childhood (3–6)
  • Lower Elementary (6–9)
  • Upper Elementary (9–12)
  • Middle School (12–14)

MSOW serves approximately 380 students from Toddler through Middle School and is experiencing continued growth and campus expansion. We are a well-established, mission-driven Montessori community committed to authentic Montessori practice, strong family partnerships, and professional excellence.Our faculty culture is collaborative and stable, with strong teacher retention and meaningful opportunities for leadership and career growth. We prioritize promoting from within whenever possible and value educators interested in long-term professional engagement within a thriving school community.MSOW also serves as the lab school for a Montessori Teacher Education Program, Global Montessori Educators Institute (GMEI) a program of Montessori School of Waukesha. This partnership supports a dynamic professional environment grounded in reflection and an opportunity for continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • AMS or AMI affiliated Montessori credential (current)  MACTE-accredited Montessori credential may also be acceptable.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Commitment to Montessori philosophy and child-centered environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for students, families, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
